I wont waste my time talking up sandwiches because everyone knows they are delicious. I mean, there is a whole show on the travel channel dedicated to finding the best one in America. I didnt even bother watching the show because I have already found the best sandwich in America and it is here in Denver at Marczyks Deli. It is not on the menu but most people who work there know it as the "Carlar" or the "Disco Chicken". Luckily, even if they dont you can simply build your own sandwich and recreate the magic. Here is whats on it: Ciabatta, roast chicken, sriracha mayo, havarti, red onion, arugula, peppercinis. BOOM. And yes all these ingredients are essential. Once they forgot my sriracha mayo and I honestly got tears in my eyes. Another time they were out of ciabatta so I got french and I felt like a total tool eating such a beastly sandwich on such a pussy baguette. If you happen to venture to Marczyks and order this sandwich and for whatever reason you are unable to get it in its pure unadulterated form, don't order it. Don't substitute turkey for chicken or lettuce for arugula. You will be disappointed. Trust me.
mouth is watering from a picture of a pickle, totally normal. can we add this to my reunion food tour of Denver?
