Wendy, I'm Home.

In the movie version of  "The Shining" the management of the Overlook hotel blamed cabin fever for Jack Torrances descent into Madness.  In the book, Steven King blames the super natural forces that are associated with the hotel. Jack Torrance personally blames his lack of "play" and his annoying wife and child. They are all wrong. It was none of these things. It was the snow. Jack Torrance was probably just getting sick of wearing the same gross flannel and cordory shirt everyday. Sure, he brought shorty-shorts with him. Sadly, the continue fall of snow permitted him from sporting them. Notice the permanent eye roll plastered on his lifeless, frozen face? Yeah, that's the same look I have on my face right now.  WTF is it snowing on May 1st????
